Next up for TurboCode LLC are AT&T (AT&T Mobility) (2:23-cv-00375) and Deutsche Telekom (T-Mobile) (2:23-cv-00376), separately sued in a pair of Eastern District of Texas complaints. The plaintiff asserts a familiar patent, generally related to processing “baseband digital signals”, targeting the sale of telecommunication handsets (including those manufactured by Alphabet (Google), Apple, LG Electronics, Motorola, and/or Samsung) that comply with 3G and/or 4G LTE standards “as disclosed in the 3rd Generation Partnership Project (“3GPP”) Standard Specifications governing cellular wireless communications (e.g., TS 26.071-26.999)”. The last round in this campaign involved separate Western District of Texas cases against D-Link, HTC, TCL, and Unizyx (ZyXEL), two of which remain active.
