MC Robotics LLC has kicked off a litigation campaign with three new suits, one each against iRobot (2:16-cv-01183), Neato Robotics (2:16-cv-01185), and Samsung (2:16-cv-01184). The new complaints assert one patent (6,650,975) generally related to automatic mobile appliances, and the accused products are robotic vacuum cleaners sold by each of the defendants (iRobot’s Roomba, Neato’s Botvac, and Samsung’s POWERbot Wi-Fi Vacuums), as well as iRobot’s robotic, mobile assistant Ava. MC Robotics is affiliated with IP Valuation Partners LLC (IPVal), a patent monetization firm whose principals have been associated with multiple litigation campaign over the past couple of years.
