Monument Patent Holdings Sub Revives Image Capture and Processing Campaign
November 1, 2016
Visual Content IP, LLC this week filed its first new case since May 2016, suing Dacuda (2:16-cv-01215) over five related patents (8,189,965; 8,384,947; 8,570,588; 8,693,047; 8,786,897) generally concerning image capture units and image processing scanner systems. The NPE’s infringement allegations focus on “all-in-one scanner and mouse devices”, including Dacuda’s PocketScan and ScanMouse. This latest suit follows the settlement of Visual Content’s last active case, against Halo 2 Cloud (also sued over a scanner and mouse product), in September.
