The initial case filed by Nodal Technologies LLC, against Deutsche Telekom (T-Mobile), saw first Ericsson and then Nokia intervene, before the claims against each of the three defendants were dismissed with prejudice in light of successive settlements, with Ericsson then Nokia then T-Mobile. Only one of the two patents asserted there is now in suit again, this time against AT&T (AT&T Mobility) (2:23-cv-00432), accused of infringement “by using its LTE v.10-compliant and 5-G compliant wireless telecommunications networks”.
