Pleading that it “holds more than 750 patents, including over 100 mobile text entry patents relating to numerous aspects of swipe or gesture texting, predictive text, text correction, and handwritten characters technology”, Cerence Operating Company, a subsidiary of publicly traded Cerence, has filed suit against Samsung (2:23-cv-00482) over five of those patents. The new Eastern District of Texas complaint targets the provision of various Galaxy mobile devices.
