Sovereign Peak Ventures, LLC (SPV), a Dominion Harbor Enterprises, LLC plaintiff, has sued HMD Global (6:23-cv-00759) in the Western District of Texas. Albright; TP-Link has contested personal jurisdiction, prompting SPV to file a notice of intent to conduct venue-related discovery. SPV targets HMD Global over the provision of Nokia-branded smartphones that support Wi-Fi Direct or Qi wireless charging, asserting five from among its large portfolio of former Panasonic assets.
