Comarco Wireless Systems LLC (CWS) has revived its sole litigation campaign, launched in June 2021, with a suit against Walgreens (4:23-cv-01111) in the Eastern District of Texas. The asserted patents are broadly directed to a system for suppling power to a portable electronic device, with the defendant accused of infringement through the provision or sale of certain Infinitive- and Belkin-branded charging cables, charging devices, and power banks. At issue are the products’ compliance with the Battery Charging (BC) 1.2 specification.
