Campaign over Former Citrix Patents Snags a Seventh Defendant

January 5, 2024

OptiMorphix, Inc. launched its sole litigation campaign in September 2023 with a District of Delaware case against Alphabet (Google), suing now six additional defendants over the weeks since. The latest is Microsoft (5:23-cv-00150), sued in the Eastern District of Texas last month. The plaintiff asserts ten former Citrix patents broadly directed to various aspects of data transmission, file management, media streaming, and video coding, with Microsoft targeted over various Microsoft Azure products, including certain content delivery networks (CDNs), firewalls, gateways, and media streaming products.
