NextGen Innovations, LLC has filed a second case against Nokia (2:23-cv-00637). The plaintiff targets a wide array of optical networking products—including the 5571 POL Command Center, 7360 Intelligent Services Access Manager (ISAM) FX, CFP-ACO pluggable optical transceiver modules, and WaveLite 200 and 1830 Photonic Switch Service lines—with three more optical networking patents. In the first case, concerning four such patents, Magistrate Judge Roy S. Payne just handed down a claim construction order, dated December 22, 2023, which appears largely to favor NextGen Innovations.
