After suing Withings (2:23-cv-00610) in the Eastern District of Texas last month, Mobile Health Innovative Solutions, LLC has sued Apple (2:24-cv-00014) in the same venue, again asserted a single patent generally related to a wearable device with sensors that can be used to determine a user’s stress level. Health tracking via smartwatch is the focus of the complaints’ infringement allegations: blood oxygen sensors, heart rate sensors, sleep tracking, and more in the Apple Watch Series 7 and beyond (alleged to support the Apple Health and Stress Monitor app) and in the ScanWatch and ScanWatch Horizon (the Withings mobile app).
