Named Inventors on Newly Asserted Remote Authorization Patents Have an Adversarial History with Microsoft

Newly-formed NPE Greater Boston Authentication Solutions, LLC (GBAS) has filed suit against Microsoft (1:17-cv-10565), asserting all three members of a family of patents (5,982,892; 6,567,793; 7,346,583) generally related to unlocking remote electronic data. GBAS accuses Microsoft of infringement through provision of its product activation software.
