Woodbury Wireless Hits T-Mobile as Prior Case Against Verizon Wireless Ends

February 9, 2024

On the heels of a motion for dismissal of its prior case against Verizon (Verizon Wireless), Woodbury Wireless LLC has sued Deutsche Telekom (T-Mobile) (2:24-cv-00088) over the provision of the “T-Mobile Wireless Network”, “T-Mobile 5G Network”, “related services and access to its 5G network”, and certain T-Mobile Wi-Fi products and services (e.g., hotspots and gateways). The same seven patents—generally related to optimizing communication between an access point or a base station to a wireless device using multiple-input, multiple-output (MIMO) and directional antennas—are asserted in this Eastern District of Texas complaint as were in suit (in the same district) against Verizon.
