Inventor-Controlled Plaintiff Taps Folding Smartphones in Inaugural Litigation

Inventor-controlled KP Innovations 2, LLC has filed its first litigation with a suit against Samsung (1:24-cv-00170) in the Western District of Texas. The sole asserted patent generally relates to a “communication services system operable with a plurality of human interpreters on a computer network”. Samsung is accused of infringement through the provision of folding smartphones, with the incorporation of a camera and a display on two sides at issue.
