Individual Inventor Launches First Litigation Campaign over Mobile Interfacing Patents
June 7, 2024
Individual inventor Ferid Allani has begun litigating a family of two patents—generally related to accessing “information- or service-providing websites” through a mobile device over a network—with suits against Alphabet (Google) (6:24-cv-00305) and Apple (6:24-cv-00304), both in the Western District of Texas. The defendants are accused of infringement over the support of features for interfacing with mobile apps in their various hardware (e.g., smartphones, smartwatches, and tablets) and software products.
