VoltStar Technologies, Inc. has added an Eastern District of Texas case against Samsung (4:24-cv-00668) to the four others filed so far this year, one against each of Encased Products, Kanex Pro, Salom America, and TOZO. More than 50 defendants have been sued in this campaign, begun over a decade ago but accelerating over the past couple of years. Defendants have been targeted over the provision of charging devices such as wall chargers and wireless charging pads, Samsung with three patents generally related to a certain “charger plugs”.
