Wireless power technologies developer NuCurrent, Inc. has revived its sole litigation campaign, launched in February 2018 with a suit against Samsung, with a pair of complaints, one filed against ASUSTek (2:24-cv-00696) in the Eastern District of Texas and another, against OnePlus (6:24-cv-00437) in the Western District of Texas. The ten patents-in-suit, asserted in overlapping sets, are broadly directed to various aspects of wireless data and power transfer. The defendants are accused of infringement through the provision of devices, ranging from charging accessories to smartphones, that support wireless charging.
