September 21, 2024

In a new District of Delaware complaint, NTJK, Inc. has accused Amazon (1:24-cv-01043) of infringing a single patent generally related to “searching” and “managing TV program data supplied by broadcasting stations” over the Internet. The inventor-controlled plaintiff targets the provision of the Amazon Prime Video streaming service; Amazon products compatible with Prime Video, including various Fire TV, Fire Stick, Fire, Kindle Fire, and Echo devices; and third-party devices compatible with the Prime Video app, including “non-Amazon TVs, tablets, smartphones, computers and other devices”.
