Inventor-controlled Portus Singapore Pte Ltd. and its Australian subsidiary Portus Pty Limited have sued Assa Abloy (August Home) (1:24-cv-01051) in the District of Delaware over the provision of “smart home solutions with products such as a series of wirelessly connected locks, such as the August Smart Lock, and Wi-Fi bridges, such as the August Connect, and doorbell cameras”. At issue are features related for accessing and controlling the accused products remotely through mobile apps and web portals.
