Zugara, Inc. has filed two new suits, against Estee Lauder (2:25-cv-00180) and JAND (2:25-cv-00183), both in the Eastern District of Texas. Last September, the plaintiff filed separate cases over the same single patent, against GoodR, Grenion, and JOIUSS, each of which was dismissed at the end of last month without prejudice (and without much happening, at least as docketed). The GoodR suit was filed in the Central District of California, which imposes heightened disclosure requirements on litigants. There, inventor-controlled Zugara indicated that no one had a pecuniary interest in the outcome of that case.
