Wapp Tech Limited Partnership and its general partner Wapp Tech Corp. (collectively, “Wapp”) have sued Apple together with Capital One and Cullen/Frost (Frost Bank) (4:25-cv-00230) in a single Eastern District of Texas complaint. The plaintiffs assert the same five patents, generally related to a system for developing a mobile device application, that have been in suit against the last three defendants, Bank of America, JP Morgan Chase, and Wells Fargo.
