Dominion’s SPV Sues Micro-Star, as OnePlus and Zyxel Exit Campaign

This past March, separate cases that Sovereign Peak Ventures, LLC (SPV) had filed against OnePlus and Zyxel Group (Zyxel Communications) in the back half of 2024 were dismissed, following earlier filed documents referencing a settlement. Now, SPV, a Dominion Harbor Enterprises, LLC plaintiff, has filed suit against Micro-Star International (MSI) (2:25-cv-00449) over the provision of products that support Wi-Fi Direct, including laptops running Microsoft Windows 10 or 11 that support Miracast—a media casting protocol that, per the plaintiff, “is a Wi-Fi Alliance technology that necessarily includes Wi-Fi Direct functionality”.
