Take Two for Interum Group Against Zoom Video
In June 2024, Interum Group Inc. filed a complaint in the Central District of California against Zoom Video Communications. The defendant responded with an unopposed motion to transfer to the Northern District of California, as well as an opposed motion to dismiss for improper venue and pleading inadequacies. Interum Group voluntarily dismissed that suit without prejudice in October 2024 and has now refiled the case in the Northern District of California (3:25-cv-03951), at the same time adding additional paragraphs to its complaint, perhaps in an attempt to sidestep a second motion to dismiss on pleading issues.
