As reported in RPX’s latest quarterly update, throughout the second quarter, Intellectual Ventures LLC (IV) continued to divest patents to other NPEs. Q2 also saw a number of NPEs begin litigating patents received from IV. Drawing on proprietary RPX data, this article provides a visual mapping of IV’s patent transfers to NPEs as well as an overview of recently initiated launched litigation campaigns asserting former IV assets.
