Texas Plaintiff on a Familiar Team Rocks Cisco
May 31, 2025
In an Eastern District of Texas complaint, Diorite Technology, LLC has accused Cisco (2:25-cv-00591) of infringing three former Mitel Networks patents through the provision of various communications products, including Cisco Desk, Cisco VoIP products, and services using Cisco Broadworks. At issue are features related to automatic callback, diagnostics tools, and video meetings. Although Diorite appears controlled by a familiar team, its disclosure here departs from the pattern established by other associated plaintiffs.
