FlickIntelligence, LLC has added cases against Snap (7:25-cv-00263), in the Western District of Texas, and against Vuzix (6:25-cv-06281), in the Western District of Texas, to its AR/VR campaign. The sole asserted patent generally relates to an augmented reality device. Snap is presumably accused of infringement through the provision of certain smart augmented reality (AR) glasses, including the fifth-generation Spectacles running SnapOS; Vuzix, the M400 Smart Glasses. (The Snap complaint lists Vuzix’s M400 Smart Glasses, but the attached claim chart does refer to the Snap’s Spectacles.) An initial schedule was only just set in an April 2024 case against EON Reality, the only other open matter, after months of service issues and a withdrawn entry of default.
