Personalized Media Communications Transfers Patent Holdings

Leading the set of patent assignments made recently made public by the USPTO is the transfer of most of the family held and litigated by Personalized Media Communications, LLC (PMC) for roughly two decades to a new entity, formed under suggestive circumstances. Last Friday, the Federal Circuit affirmed a final written decision that had canceled all but one of the claims from one of the patents just transferred. Otherwise, that set of patent assignments recently made public is—flush—with interesting movement.
