Induction Devices Sues a Small Mall of Retailers
Induction Devices LLC has indeed launched litigation over the transfer of former Cypress Semiconductor patents reported last week. The Equitable IP Corporation plaintiff has sued Bass Pro Group (BPS Direct, Cabelas) (2:25-cv-00775), Dick’s Sporting Goods (2:25-cv-00765), Dillard’s (2:25-cv-00776), Gap (Athleta, Banana Republic, Old Navy) (2:25-cv-00766), JCPenney (2:25-cv-00767), Ross Stores (2:25-cv-00768), Stichting Ingka Foundation (IKEA) (2:25-cv-00777), Ulta Beauty (2:25-cv-00769), and Williams-Sonoma (2:25-cv-00778) over “the provision and support of branded contactless consumer credit cards”, alleged to operate in compliance with the EMV Contactless Specifications for Payment Systems.
