Empire Technology Development Files a Supplemental Corporate Disclosure Under Judge Connolly’s Standing Order

September 11, 2025

An Empire Technology Development LLC case filed against AMD last month was assigned to Delaware Chief Judge Colm F. Connolly, in whose courtroom several notable standing orders apply. One such order requires any “nongovernmental joint venture, limited liability corporation, partnership, or limited liability partnership” to include in its corporate disclosure statement “the name of every owner, member, and partner of the party, proceeding up the chain of ownership until the name of every individual and corporation with a direct or indirect interest in the party has been identified”. Empire Technology Development has filed a “Supplemental Corporate Disclosure Statement” that names 33 nonpersons and two individuals as “members and owners of Empire, including the individuals and corporations with a direct or indirect interest” in it.
