Game On for Dominion Harbor Plaintiff
Fortuna IP, LLC has filed its first lawsuit, accusing Fertitta Entertainment and Golden Landry’s (and various subsidiaries alleged to own and operate various Golden Nugget gaming facilities) (2:25-cv-01758) of infringing three gaming patents that the Dominion Harbor Enterprises, LLC plaintiff received last December. Fortuna IP targets the provision of casino gaming machines that support the 24K Select Rewards program, electronic poker gaming systems “linked through a centralized poker server”, and gaming machines incorporating secondary controllers providing “secondary gaming functionality. Per a certificate of interested parties, the source of the asserted patents “may have a direct and pecuniary interest in the outcome of this case”.
