Bloomberg reported (April 16, 2011) that RIM is considering making an offer for the Nortel portfolio that would exceed Google’s $900M bid. According to bidding rules associated with the upcoming June 20 auction of the Nortel portfolio, a second bid would have to be at least $929M. Any subsequent bids would have to be $5M more.
