The Apple Watch is accused of patent infringement in a new District of Massachusetts complaint (1:24-cv-10275), but physiological parameter tracking is not at issue. Boston Inventions, LLC targets the clasp mechanism of the Apple Watch Leather Link smart watch band with a single patent entitled “Hybrid mechanical and magnetic fastening system”.  The inventor-controlled plaintiff alleges willfulness based on a notice letter allegedly sent this past June.
