Qualserve Stays off the Patent Case Beaten Path
New Patent Litigation
Earlier this year, Qualserve Solutions LLC sued LG Electronics (LGE) in the Southern District of Florida and Samsung in the Southern District of New York, both of which cases have ended. Now, in a Northern District of Ohio complaint, the Delaware plaintiff has accused AT&T (5:23-cv-01209) of infringing the same former Nederlandse Organisatie Voor Toegepast-Natuurwetenschappelijk Onderzoek (TNO) patent. That patent generally relates to a system for picking the route to a destination based on quality-of-service (QoS) values derived from service level agreement (SLA) arrangements with network domain operators, with allegations in this latest complaint focused on the provision of Office@Hand, which “allows users to initiate communication sessions for voice calling, video calling, messaging, and/or online meetings”.
