Telsync Expands 5G Networking Campaign
New Patent Litigation
F5 (2:24-cv-01037) is the latest defendant to be added to the litigation campaign that Telsync Technologies LLC launched in August 2023. In the new complaint, filed in the Western District of Washington, the plaintiff asserts a single patent generally related to establishing communications between multiple devices over a physical distance. The defendant is accused of infringement through the provision of the F5 Aspen Mesh solution, targeted over its support of the 5G service-based architecture (SBA) framework.

Telsync Technologies LLC has sued Accenture (2:24-cv-00294), AT&T (2:24-cv-00295), Ericsson (2:24-cv-00297), Samsung (2:24-cv-00298), and ZTE (2:24-cv-00299) in separate Eastern District of Texas complaints as well as Deutsche Telekom (T-Mobile) (6:24-cv-00227) in the Western District of Texas. Asserting a single patent generally related to establishing communications between multiple devices over a physical distance, Telsync targets the provision of products that are compliant with 5G networking, including certain 5G networking solutions (Accenture, Ericsson, and Samsung) and 5G telecommunications networks (AT&T and T-Mobile).

Telsync Technologies LLC has launched its first litigation, suing AMG Technology Investment Group (d/b/a Nextlink Internet) (6:34-cv-00624), CTTC (Central Texas Telephone Investments) (6:34-cv-00625), Colorado Valley Communications (Colorado Valley Celltel) (6:34-cv-00626), Mavenir (6:34-cv-00627), West Central Wireless (6:34-cv-00629), and WiFires Communications (6:34-cv-00631) over the provision of cellular and networking products that support various wireless communication functionalities, including 4G and/or 5G connectivity.

Empire Technology Patents Pass Through AST on Their Way to New Texas NPE

USPTO records indicate that in May, an entity associated with Allied Security Trust (AST) assigned a portfolio of wireless networking patents to a recently formed Texas NPE. The transacted portfolio originates with Empire Technology Development LLC—a subsidiary of Allied Inventors Management, LLC (AIM)—and the NPE now holding the portfolio is controlled by a familiar name in patent monetization.
