Inventor-controlled IP Buds, LLC has sued Samsung (2:23-cv-00475) over the provision of the “Wireless PowerShare” functionality in its various Galaxy-series earbuds. A single patent generally related to a certain “wireless headset” is asserted in the new Eastern District of Texas complaint. The plaintiff seeks damages, an injunction, and a judgment of willful infringement, alleging contact with Samsung as early as December 2014 for potential licensing discussions.
