Shift to Vehicle Infotainment Systems Continues in Aprese Systems Campaign
New Patent Litigation
Aprese Systems Texas, LLC (f/k/a Aprese Systems) has added another automaker to the litigation campaign begun in Texas back in September 2019 with a case against Roku. On December 15, the inventor-controlled plaintiff sued Nissan and Central Austin Motorcars, LLC (d/b/a South Austin Nissan) over the provision of automobiles that feature in-dash multimedia systems that support Apple Carplay, Google’s Android Auto, and NissanConnect and Nissan Mobile Partner Applications. The same four patents are at issue as Aprese Systems asserted in its September 2021 suit, also filed in the Western District of Texas, against Volkswagen (Audi) and Audi North Austin.

New Patent Litigation
Aprese Systems Texas, LLC (f/k/a Aprese Systems) has picked its sole litigation campaign back up with a new Western District of Texas lawsuit against Volkswagen (Audi) (6:21-cv-01014).
