AI Automation Asserts New Patent Acquired in December
AI Automation, LLC (AIA) sued Samsung, asserting a single patent (5,655,136). The patent relates to handwriting recognition for handheld devices. This is the first time it has been asserted in litigation. Samsung’s tablet phone is accused of infringing the patent-in-suit. RPX reviewed the asserted patent in 2009 as part of a portfolio offered in an open market opportunity (M_Morgan).
