DataMotion Adds Citigroup and Wells Fargo to Its Secure E-mail Campaign
DataMotion Texas, LLC ’s secure e-mail campaign, which began in May 2015, now counts Citigroup (2:15-cv-01721) and Wells Fargo (2:15-cv-01723) among its defendants. Two patents (6,684,248, 8,447,967) are asserted against each of the ten defendants. They both generally relate to secure data transfer and are asserted against the defendants’ secure e-mail systems, including those of Citigroup and Wells Fargo.

Additional DataMotion Suit Ensures Both Patents-in-Suit Are Asserted Against All Eight Defendants
DataMotion Texas, LLC recently added a ninth suit (2:15-cv-01683) to its only litigation campaign, which began in May 2015. Two patents (6,684,248, 8,447,967), both generally related to secure data transfer, have been asserted against all eight defendants in the case, in the original complaint for some and by amended complaint for others. DataMotion originally asserted only the ‘248 patent against American Heritage, but it filed an amended complaint to add assertion of the ‘967 against American Heritage. The new complaint also asserts the ‘967 patent against American Heritage, in apparent belt-and-suspenders fashion.

DataMotion Texas Sues HP Over Secure Email Services
DataMotion Texas, LLC recently added a suit (2:15-cv-00918) against HP, and its subsidiary Voltage Security, to its only litigation campaign, which just began at the end of May. A single patent, concerning secure data transfer, is asserted in the suit (6,684,248). HP’s secure email services are accused of infringement.
