Solocron Education Files a Dozen More Suits
Six months after its last wave of lawsuits, Solocron Education, LLC has filed a dozen more, bringing the total number of defendants in its sole litigation campaign above 50. The new complaints, like the old, assert a single patent (6,263,439) generally related to verifying access by remote students to educational content. Defendants added so far in July 2016 include Blackboard, Saba Software, Salesforce, SAP (SuccessFactors), Sum Total Systems, and Xerox (LearnSomething), among others. The NPE accuses the defendants of infringement through the provision of distance learning products and/or services.
