1. A power transmission system for a vehicle, the power transmission system comprising:

  • a first rotary shaft;

    a second rotary shaft that has a cylindrical shape, the first rotary shaft and the second rotary shaft arranged around a common axis;

    a fitting portion at which outer peripheral teeth formed on an outer periphery of the first rotary shaft and inner peripheral teeth formed on an inner periphery of the second rotary shaft are fitted and coupled to each other so as to transmit power; and

    a tolerance ring arranged between the outer periphery of the first rotary shaft and the inner periphery of the second rotary shaft, whereinthe second rotary shaft having an inner peripheral spigot joint surface, andthe first rotary shaft having a first outer peripheral spigot joint surface and a second outer peripheral spigot joint surface, the first outer peripheral spigot joint surface being provided at a position away from the outer peripheral teeth and the tolerance ring in the direction of the common axis, and the second outer peripheral spigot joint surface being provided between the outer peripheral teeth and the tolerance ring in a direction of the common axis;

    wherein the inner peripheral spigot joint surface and the first outer peripheral spigot joint surface are fitted to each other, at a first spigot joint portion, and the inner peripheral spigot joint surface and the second outer peripheral spigot joint surface are fitted to each other, at a second spigot joint portion, so as to prevent a misalignment between the axis of the first rotary shaft and the axis of the second rotary shaft, andwherein a first distance in a radial direction between the first spigot joint portion and the common axis and a second distance in the radial direction between the second spigot joint portion and the common axis are the same, and each of the first and second distances in the radial direction is greater than a third distance in the radial direction between the fitting portion and the common axis.
