1. A method of mitigating interference at a user equipment in a wireless communication system, the method comprising:
- receiving, at the user equipment, a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) in the presence of an interfering signal;
receiving, at the user equipment from a serving eNodeB, Downlink Control Information (DCI) to provide information defining characteristics of the interfering signal; and
suppressing interference caused to the PDSCH by the interfering signal based on the information defining characteristics of the interfering signal.
