Abstract

Disclosed are an optical member, a display device including the optical member and a method of fabricating the optical member. The display device includes a light source; a wavelength conversion member into which light generated from the light source is incident; and a display panel into which light is incident from the wavelength conversion member. The wavelength conversion member includes a receiving part having a pipe shape; a matrix in the receiving part; and a plurality of wavelength conversion particles disposed in the matrix to convert a wavelength of the light generated from the light source.

Claims

1. A touch panel comprising:

a substrate;

a plurality of jumper metals on the substrate;

a first insulation layer on the substrate;

first and second conductive patterns on the substrate and extending in a first direction and a second direction, respectively;

a plurality of connecting parts comprising;

a first connecting part connecting the first conductive patterns;

a first outer connecting part; and

a second outer connecting part;

a first electrode connected to the first outer connecting part; and

a second metal electrode electrically connected to the second outer connecting part;

wherein the second conductive patterns are connected by a first jumper metal of the plurality of jumper metals;

wherein each connecting part of the plurality of connecting puts has a width, measured in the second direction, that is wider than a line width, measured in the first direction, of the first metal electrode and narrower than a line width of each first conductive pattern;

wherein the first metal electrode is in direct physical contact with the first outer connecting part and is electrically connected to the end portion of the first conductive patterns through the first outer connecting part; and

wherein the second metal electrode is in direct physical contact with the second outer connecting part and is electrically connected to the end portion of the second conductive patterns through the second outer connecting part and a second jumper metal of the plurality of jumper metals.

2. The touch panel according to claim 1, wherein each jumper metal of the plurality of jumper metals comprises the same material as a material of at least one of the first and second metal electrodes.

3. The touch panel according to claim 1, wherein the first conductive patterns are connected on the first insulation layer.

4. The touch panel according to claim 1, wherein the first and the second metal electrodes are disposed on the substrate.

9. The touch panel according to claim 1, wherein a length of each jumper metal of the plurality of jumper metals, measured in the second direction, is smaller than a length of each second conductive pattern, measured in the second direction;

wherein each jumper metal of the plurality of jumper metals comprises an overlapping area overlapped, in a third direction perpendicular to the first and second directions, with the first connecting part or a second conductive pattern of the second conductive patterns;

wherein each jumper metal of the plurality of jumper metals further comprises a non-overlapping area that is not overlapped, in the third direction, with the first connecting part or any second conductive pattern; and

wherein a length of the non-overlapping area, measured in the second direction, is smaller than a length of the overlapping area, measured in the second direction.

11. The touch panel according to claim 1, wherein each jumper metal of the plurality of jumper metals and at least one of the first and second metal electrodes are disposed on a same plane.

5. A touch panel comprising:

a substrate;

a plurality of jumper metals on the substrate;

a first insulation layer on the substrate;

first and second conductive patterns on the substrate and extending in a first direction and a second direction, respectively;

a plurality of connecting parts comprising;

a first connecting part connecting the first conductive patterns;

a first outer connecting part; and

a second outer connecting part;

a first metal electrode connected to the outer connecting part;

a second metal electrode electrically connected to the second outer connecting part; and

a second insulation layer formed on the first conductive patterns, the second conductive patterns, the first metal electrode, and the second metal electrode;

wherein the second conductive patterns are connected by a first jumper metal of the plurality of jumper metals;

wherein each jumper metal of the plurality of jumper metals comprises the same material as a material of the first metal electrode and the second metal electrode;

wherein the first metal electrode is in direct physical contact with the first outer connecting part and is electrically connected to the end portion of the first conductive patterns through the first outer connecting part; and

wherein the second metal electrode is in direct physical contact with the second outer connecting part and is electrically connected to the end portion of the second conductive patterns through the second outer connecting part and a second jumper metal of the plurality of jumper metals.

6. The touch panel according to claim 5,

wherein each connecting art of the plurality of connecting parts has a width, measured in the second direction, that is wider than a line width, measured in the first direction, of the first metal electrode and narrower than a line width of each first conductive pattern.

7. The touch panel according to claim 5, wherein the other of the first and second conductive patterns are connected on the first insulation layer.

8. The touch panel according to claim 5, wherein the first and second metal electrodes are disposed on the substrate.

10. The touch panel according to claim 5, wherein a length of each jumper metal of the plurality of jumper metals, measured in the second direction, is smaller than a length of each second conductive pattern, measured in the second direction;

wherein each jumper metal of the plurality of jumper metals comprises an overlapping area overlapped, in a third direction perpendicular to the first and second directions, with the first connecting part or a second conductive pattern of the second conductive patterns;

wherein each jumper metal of the plurality of jumper metals further comprises a non-overlapping area that is not overlapped, in the third direction, with the first connecting part or any second conductive pattern; and

wherein a length of the non-overlapping area, measured in the second direction, is smaller than a length of the overlapping area, measured in the second direction.

12. The touch panel according to claim 5, wherein each jumper metal of the plurality of jumper metals and at least one of the first and second metal electrodes are disposed on a same plane.
