- a content management computing system in networked communication with a mobile communications device associated with a user and a computing device associated with a content curator, the content management computing system configured to;
store first language-based content and second language-based content received from the computing device;
translate the first language-based content into a first plurality of language translations;
cause the display of the plurality of language translations on the computing device;
translate the second language-based content into a second plurality of language translations;
cause the display of the second plurality of language translations on the computing device;
link the first language-based content to a first trigger;
link the second language-based content to a second trigger;
receive a network communication from the mobile communications device, the network communication comprising one of the first trigger and the second trigger;
when the network communication comprises the first trigger, cause the transmission of one of the first plurality of language translations to the mobile communications device; and
when the network communication comprises the second trigger, cause the transmission of one of the second plurality of language translations to the mobile communications device.

Abstract
Systems, methods and apparatus are disclosed for linking virtual content to various types of object, such a static physical objects, through the use of triggers of varying formats. The virtual content can be updated by a content curator over time. The virtual content can be translated into a plurality of languages and can be selectively transmitted to a mobile communications device upon receipt of the trigger.

a content management computing system in networked communication with a mobile communications device associated with a user and a computing device associated with a content curator, the content management computing system configured to; store first language-based content and second language-based content received from the computing device; translate the first language-based content into a first plurality of language translations; cause the display of the plurality of language translations on the computing device; translate the second language-based content into a second plurality of language translations; cause the display of the second plurality of language translations on the computing device; link the first language-based content to a first trigger; link the second language-based content to a second trigger; receive a network communication from the mobile communications device, the network communication comprising one of the first trigger and the second trigger; when the network communication comprises the first trigger, cause the transmission of one of the first plurality of language translations to the mobile communications device; and when the network communication comprises the second trigger, cause the transmission of one of the second plurality of language translations to the mobile communications device. - View Dependent Claims (2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7)

8. A computer-based method, comprising:

receiving first language-based content from a remote computing device operated by a content curator; storing the first language-based content in a content database; linking a first trigger to the first language-based content; receiving second language-based content from the remote computing device operated by the content curator; storing the second language-based content in the content database; linking a second trigger to the second language-based content; subsequent to linking the first and second triggers to the first and second language-based content, respectively, receiving a communication comprising a received trigger collected by a mobile communications device; when the received trigger is one of the first trigger and the second trigger, sending an informational response to the mobile communications device, wherein when the received trigger is the first trigger, sending a language translation of the first language-based content in the informational response; and when the received trigger is the second trigger, sending a language translation of the second language-based content in the informational response. - View Dependent Claims (9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17)

18. A content management computing system comprising at least one processor and non-transitory computer readable medium having instructions stored thereon which when executed by the at least one processor cause the at least one processor to:

store first language-based content and second language-based content received from a computing device associated with a content curator; translate the first language-based content received from the content curator into a first plurality of language translations and display of the plurality of language translations on the computing device associated with the content curator; translate the second language-based content received from the content curator into second plurality of language translations and display of the second plurality of language translations on the computing device associated with the content curator; link the first language-based content to a first trigger; link the second language-based content to a second trigger; receive a network communication from a mobile communications device, the network communication comprising one of the first trigger and the second trigger; when the first trigger is received, cause the transmission of one of the first plurality of language translations to the mobile communications device; and when the second trigger is received, cause the transmission of one of the second plurality of language translations to the mobile communications device. - View Dependent Claims (19, 20)
