a light supply portion configured to emit light to the pixel portion with first luminance in the first mode and with second luminance in the second mode,wherein one of the first mode and the second mode is selected when an event is supplied to the input portion, in accordance with a contrast of the image information and a proportion of an area of a dark portion in the image information,wherein, in the first mode, a contrast of image information to be displayed next is lower than the contrast of the image information displayed before supplying the event, andwherein, in the second mode, the image information is displayed while keeping the contrast of the image information.

Abstract
To reduce eye fatigue of a user and perform eye-friendly display. An information processing device provided with a display portion and an input portion has a first mode in which the contrast or the brightness of a displayed image is adjusted and a second mode in which the contrast or the brightness of a displayed image is set to the initial set value. In the case where an image is displayed and a signal such as a scroll instruction is input to the input portion, the contrast or the brightness of the displayed image is adjusted depending on the content of the scroll instruction; thus, the information processing device can perform eye-friendly display.
