1. A device configured to control an electrical load, the device comprising:

  • a controller;

    a memory configured to store a scene, wherein the scene comprises an intensity setting for the electrical load, and wherein the memory is communicatively coupled with the controller;

    a first wireless communication circuit configured to communicate on a first wireless communication network via a first protocol, the first wireless communication circuit communicatively coupled with the controller; and

    a second communication circuit configured to communicate on a second communication network via a second protocol, the second communication circuit communicatively coupled with the controller, and wherein the second communication network is different from the first wireless communication network;

    the controller configured to;

    receive a first signal from the first wireless communication network via the first wireless communication circuit and via the first protocol, the first signal comprising a command to set the electrical load to the scene;

    to set the electrical load to the scene;

    in response to receiving the first signal, wait to receive a second signal from the second communication network in order to implement the scene;

    subsequent to receiving the first signal, receive the second signal from the second communication network via the second communication circuit and via the second protocol; and

    in response to receiving the second signal, implement the scene by controlling the power delivered to the electrical load.
