1. A method of manufacturing a display device comprising:
- preparing an EL panel supported by a process substrate, the EL panel comprising a light emitting element and a first transistor electrically connected to the light emitting element;
preparing a liquid crystal panel supported by a substrate, the liquid crystal panel comprising a liquid crystal element and a second transistor electrically connected to the liquid crystal element;
separating the process substrate from the EL panel to expose an insulating film which covers the light emitting element; and
attaching the EL panel from which the process substrate separated to the liquid crystal panel with a bonding layer therebetween,wherein the EL panel is attached to the liquid crystal panel so that the light emitting element and the liquid crystal element overlap with each other.

Abstract
A novel display panel that can be used as a reflective display panel in an environment with strong external light and as a self-luminous display panel in a dim environment, for example and that has low power consumption and is highly convenient or reliable is provided. The display panel includes a pixel and a substrate that supports the pixel. The pixel includes a first display element (e.g., a reflective liquid crystal element) that includes a reflective film having an opening as a first conductive film and a second display element (e.g., an organic EL element) that emits light to the opening.
