1. A biological information measurement device comprising:

  • a main body that is to be attached to a measurement area;

    an internal sensor that is provided internally in the main body and detects a signal expressing biological information including at least transdermal oxygen saturation level in arterial blood from the measurement area;

    a display unit configured to display biological information;

    a connector included in the main body and configured to be connected with an external sensor that is external to the main body, the external sensor detecting, when the external sensor is connected to the main body, a signal expressing biological information including at least transdermal oxygen saturation level in arterial blood from the measurement area; and

    a control unit that defines and functions as;

    a first perfusion index obtainment unit that obtains a first perfusion index expressing a ratio between a pulsation component and a non-pulsation component of arterial blood in the measurement area based on the signal detected by the internal sensor;

    a first biological information obtainment unit that obtains first biological information of the measurement area, aside from the first perfusion index, by processing the signal detected by the internal sensor; and

    a first determining unit that determines whether or not the first perfusion index is greater than or equal to a first threshold;

    whereinthe control unit carries out control for permitting the first biological information to be displayed in the display unit when the first determining unit has determined that the first perfusion index is greater than or equal to the first threshold and carries out control for making a notification that the external sensor is to be used instead of the internal sensor when the first determining unit has determined that the first perfusion index is less than the first threshold.
