1. A vehicular acceleration input control apparatus comprising:
- a power circuit adapted to be electrically connected to a wiring harness that connects a vehicular control module to accelerator pedal position sensors, which are connected to an acceleration pedal, the wiring harness including (i) a first harness power wire, a first harness ground wire, and a first harness signal wire adapted to be connected to a first acceleration pedal position sensor, and (ii) a second harness power wire, a second harness ground wire, and a second harness signal wire adapted to be connected to a second pedal position acceleration sensor, the power circuit including;
a first power supply line adapted to be connected to the first harness power wire,a second power supply line adapted to be connected to the second harness power wire, anda ground line adapted to be connected to at least one of the first harness ground wire and the second harness ground wire; and
a processor electrically connected to and configured to receive power from the power circuit, the processor configured to;
receive acceleration input control signals from the acceleration pedal position sensors,provide an adjustment to the acceleration input control signals based on instructions stored in a memory communicatively coupled to the processor, andtransmit the adjusted acceleration input control signals to the vehicular control module via the first harness signal wire and the second harness signal wire.

Abstract
A vehicular acceleration input control apparatus is disclosed. The example apparatus includes a power circuit electrically connected to a wiring harness that connects a vehicular control module to accelerator pedal position sensors. The power circuit includes a first power supply line connected to a first harness power wire of the wiring harness and a second power supply line connected to a second harness power wire of the wiring harness. The power circuit also includes a ground line connected to at least one of a first harness ground wire and a second harness ground wire of the wiring harness. The example apparatus also includes a processor electrically connected to and configured to receive power from the power circuit. The processor is configured to adjust acceleration input control signals from acceleration pedal position sensors of an acceleration pedal for transmission to the vehicular control module.

8. An acceleration input control apparatus comprising:
a power circuit electrically adapted to be connected to a wiring harness between a control module and an accelerator pedal position sensor, the wiring harness including (i) a first harness power wire, a first harness ground wire, and a first harness signal wire adapted to be connected to the acceleration pedal position sensor, and (ii) a second harness power wire, a second harness ground wire, and a second harness signal wire adapted to be connected to the pedal position acceleration sensor, the power circuit including; a power combiner circuit electrically connected to the first harness power wire and the second harness power wire; and a processor electrically connected to and configured to receive power from the power circuit, the processor configured to; receive acceleration input control signals from the acceleration pedal position sensor, provide an adjustment to the acceleration input control signals based on instructions stored in a memory communicatively coupled to the processor, and transmit the adjusted acceleration input control signals to the control module via the first harness signal wire and the second harness signal wire. - View Dependent Claims (9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14)
