1. A LED security light, comprising:

  • a light emitting unit;

    a photo sensor unit;

    a motion sensor unit;

    a loading and power control unit;

    a power supply unit comprising a first power source anda second power source; and

    a first external control unit electrically connected to the loading and power control unit;

    wherein the light emitting unit comprises an unidirectional semiconductor switching device electrically connected in series with a LED lamp;

    wherein the loading and power control unit comprises a controller electrically coupled with the unidirectional semiconductor switching device, the photo sensor unit and the motion sensor unit respectively;

    wherein the controller is operated in conjunction with a power switching circuitry for selecting and connecting at least one of the first power source and the second power source to the light emitting unit for powering the LED lamp;

    wherein when the first power source is connected to the light emitting unit, the controller activates a first subroutine to output a first pulse width modulation signal to control a conduction state or cutoff state of the unidirectional semiconductor switching device to deliver different average electric currents to the LED lamp to perform different illuminations according to signals received from the photo sensor unit and the motion sensors unit;

    wherein when an ambient light detected by the photo sensor unit is lower than a first predetermined value of an environmental light intensity, the loading and power control unit activates the motion sensor unit and manages the LED lamp to perform a first low level light intensity, wherein the first low level light intensity includes an option of zero light intensity;

    wherein when the ambient light detected by the photo sensor unit is higher than a second predetermined value of the environmental light intensity, the loading and power control unit operates to deactivate the motion sensor unit and manages to cutoff the conduction of the unidirectional semiconductor switching device;

    wherein when a motion intrusion is detected by the motion sensor, the loading and power control unit manages to increase an average electric current to drive the LED lamp for generating a first high level light intensity to create an effect of security alert;

    wherein when the second power source is connected to the light emitting unit, the controller activates a second subroutine to output a second pulse width modulation signal to control a conduction state or cutoff state of the unidirectional semiconductor switching device to deliver different average electric currents to drive the LED lamp to perform different illuminations according to signals received from the photo sensor unit and the motion sensor unit;

    wherein when the ambient light detected by the photo sensor unit is lower than the first predetermined value of the environmental light intensity, the loading and power control unit activates the motion sensor unit and manage to perform a second low level light intensity, wherein the second low level light intensity includes the option of zero light intensity;

    wherein when the ambient light detected by the photo sensor unit is higher than the second predetermined value of the environmental light intensity, the loading and power control unit operates to deactivate the motion sensor unit and manages to cutoff the conduction of the unidirectional semiconductor switching device;

    wherein when the motion intrusion is detected by the motion sensor unit, the loading and power control unit manages to increase an average electric current to drive the LED lamp for generating a second high level light intensity, wherein the first high level light intensity is greater than the second high level light intensity;

    wherein the first external control unit is electrically coupled to the controller for setting respectively a time duration of said illumination.
