Integrated circuit for receiving and transmitting component carrier configuration information
First Claim
1. An integrated circuit, comprising:
- reception circuitry which, in operation, controls reception of configuration information from a base station apparatus, andcontrol circuitry which, in operation, performs;
in response to the configuration information indicating a carrier indicator field value (CIF value) assigned to an added component carrier and a component carrier identification index (CC ID index) of the added component carrier, adding the CIF value and the CC ID index of the added component carrier to a one-to-one correspondence relationship between one or more CIF values and one or more CC ID indexes, wherein the CIF value assigned to the added component carrier is a previously-unconfigured CIF value and the one-to-one correspondence relationship prior to the addition is maintained; and
in response to the configuration information indicating the CC ID index of a deleted component carrier, deleting the CIF value of the deleted component carrier from the one-to-one correspondence relationship.

Abstract
Disclosed are a transmission device and a transmission method with which it is possible to prevent delays in data transmission and to minimize the increase in the number of bits necessary for the notification of a CC to be used, in cases where a CC to be used is added during communication employing carrier aggregation. When a component carrier is to be added to a component carrier set, a setting section provided in a base station: modifies a CIF table that defines the correspondence between code points, which are used as labels for the respective component carriers contained in the component carrier set, and the identification information of the respective component carriers; and assigns a vacant code point to the component carrier to be added, while keeping the correspondence between the code points and the component carrier identification information defined in the CIF table before modification.

6. An integrated circuit comprising:
-
control circuitry which, in operation, generates configuration information, wherein, when a component carrier is added, a previously-unconfigured carrier indicator field value (CIF value) is assigned to the added component carrier and the configuration information indicates the CIF value assigned to the added component carrier and a component carrier identification index (CC ID index) of the added component carrier, wherein the CIF value and the CC ID index of the added component carrier is added to a one-to-one correspondence relationship between one or more CIF values and one or more CC ID indexes while the one-to-one correspondence relationship prior to the addition is maintained, and when a component carrier is deleted, the configuration information indicates the CC ID index of the deleted component carrier, wherein the CIF value of the deleted component carrier is deleted from the one-to-one correspondence relationship; and transmitting circuitry which, in operation, controls transmission of the configuration information to a terminal apparatus. - View Dependent Claims (7, 8, 9, 10)
