Devices and methods for treating the skin
First Claim
1. A skin treatment assembly, comprising:
- a handpiece comprising a distal end;
a tip positioned along the distal end of the handpiece, the tip being configured to contact a skin surface of a subject;
wherein the tip is configured to be placed in fluid communication with a fluid source, wherein the fluid source comprises a fluid container, the fluid container being configured to secure to the handpiece;
a porous member extending to or near the tip, wherein the porous member extends, at least partially, within an interior of the fluid container, and wherein the porous member is configured to be placed in fluid communication with the fluid container, wherein the porous member is configured to facilitate the delivery of fluids to the skin surface; and
at least one suction conduit extending at least partially within or along the handpiece and configured to be placed in fluid communication with a vacuum source to selectively apply suction to the tip during use and to remove spent fluid or other debris from the tip during use.
